The Power Behind 0x: ZRX Token
The 0x Protocol is driven by the ZRX token, an ERC20 governance token. ZRX token holders can actively participate in protocol governance, influencing protocol modifications and directing the community treasury.
Origins of 0x
Established in 2016 by Will Warren and Amir Bandeali, 0x witnessed a rapid ascent. With Warren serving as CEO and Bandeali as CTO, they spearheaded a successful 2017 ICO, raising $24 million with notable backers like Polychain Capital. Before their venture into 0x, Warren contributed to various research projects and advised Basic Attention Token, while Bandeali, a University of Illinois Finance graduate, explored diverse trading roles. Today, a team of over 30 professionals collaboratively pushes 0x’s boundaries.
What Sets 0x Apart?
0x stands out by supporting both ERC20 and ERC-723 tokens, facilitating a broad spectrum of asset trades. The protocol’s versatility spans from eBay-like digital marketplaces to DeFi protocol exchanges. Beyond primary exchange functionalities, it’s seamlessly incorporated into platforms for in-game purchases or portfolio management. Audit & Security In particular, the team looks if the project is audited, how extensive the audit is, at the bug bounty program, if it had incidents or not, at the liquidity on the exchanges and at the transparency of the information provided.
Tokenomics Under this criterion it is analyzed whether the project is inflationary or not, whether it has maximum supply, the percentage of supply released into the market at the time of the analysis, the rate of inflation per year, the distribution of supply in the portfolios as well as the vesting plan.
Ecosistem Development In this section is checked if the project has delivered on time what it proposed in the roadmap, the degree of participation in the project governance of the community, the activity and intensity of the developments published on github and what products or applications the team proposes to develop in the future.
